  • Cookies means small files that are placed on Your computer, mobile device or any other device by a website, containing details of your browsing history on that website among its many uses.

  • The App refers to the CheckD app website, served from app.checkd.io 

  • Our Websites refers to all the other parts of our websites served from dataswyft.com and checkd.io that are not directly part of the app, for example our public homepages.

  • You means the individual accessing or company using the The App or Our Websites, or a company, or any legal entity on behalf of which such individual is accessing or using The App or Our Websites, as applicable.

How Cookies are used

How Cookies are used by The App

The App uses Cookies for necessary and required purposes (to enable the functionality of The App), and these cookies are kept for a period of one week. The Cookies are used to identify you to the system for the purpose of accessing your account (i.e. to keep you logged into your account) and to optimise how we deliver the service to you on a technical level (for example, to ensure that you connect to the same back end service each time so you get a consistent experience).

Since there are no non-necessary Cookies used by The App (for example The App does not use Cookies for the purpose of tracking or analytics) there is no need to give You the option to refuse them.

How Cookies are used by Our Websites

Our Websites use Cookies for both necessary and required purposes and for the purpose of tracking usage of our websites and for providing analytics in order to improve our service and offerings as per our Privacy Policy.
